First International Festival of Circus Art!

In the period from May 24 to 27, the first International Circus Festival "On the Fontanka" will take place in the first stationary circus of Russia. This landmark event is timed to coincide with two important dates - the foundation day of the city on the Neva and the anniversary, the 140th season of the circus. It is on these days that creative teams of artists from Russia, China, Korea, Ukraine, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Turkmenistan and other countries will be represented at the famous arena. The host of the festival will be Edgard Zapashny. Modernity and classics, high professionalism and skill of the participants of the festival will give Petersburgers and guests of our city an unforgettable encounter with the magical art of the circus.

Only four days on the arena of the circus will perform the most titled artists. Spectators can admire the Ikarian games, Kevin James's tricks, the incredible acrobatic stunts of artists from China and Korea, and also laugh at the reprints of Khush-Ma-Hush and Lariblé. Another opportunity to see this truly stellar show will not be! The festival on the Fontanka will become not only a place for professional competition, but also will present the joy of communication, new friends and enter a new bright page in the history of the circus. The final of the festival will be a series of performances gala with the brightest circus numbers, which will be selected by a special jury. At the end of the festival, on the day of the city, there will be a circus parade, where the participants of the performances, led by the largest circus performers - elephants - will follow the column in the center of St. Petersburg.
