Apollo Brown is a true workaholic with a never-ending fuse, a beating for almost the entire elite of a modern independent hip-hop scene. Guilty Simpson, Torae, OC, Hassaan Macey, Ras Kaas and many others.
C beginning of the 90th Apollo became interested in the works of such rap artists like Gang Starr, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Nas and Black Moon. And in 1996, the self-taught bitmaker had already started trying to compose his own music. Apollo gained wide popularity after winning the Detroit Red Bull Big Tune Championships. This success, he took full advantage by signing a contract with Mello Music Group in 2009.
After 7 years and countless number of collaborative albums, as well as several solo projects, Apollo Brown rejoices us with his music. This time the music is again flavored with recitative. A new record is a collaboration of two titans. Apollo Brown and Skyzoo.
The guys have long been acquainted and have repeatedly met in the studio to record joint projects, spent quite a lot of time in joint tours and even visited a joint tour around Russia. 2012th in the band released their joint album Apollo Brown and Skyzoo's "The Easy Truth." Almost exemplary hip-hop record which has everything: swinging rhythms, Detroit flavor and New York's ambitions. A filigree game with rhymes and crunchy samples found in the bins of vinyl collapses.
Provocative questions and the search for truth, careless outline of musical collages and accurate rhythm, succinctly brings together bit palette, bass and rhymes.
