The ballet «La Sylphide»

The ballet, which for many years has established a romantic style in dance and has become one of the main theatrical legends of the XIX century, is on our stage in the version of the Danish choreographer Augusta Bournonville. The illusory and unattainable dream is revealed through the story of the young Scot James. He promised his heart to a girl from his native village, but met a charming air spirit - Sylphide.
