The palace and park ensemble Pavlovsk is a monument of architecture of the end of XVIII - early XIX centuries.
Pavlovsk Palace was the imperial residence and grand. It is associated with the names of Paul I and Maria Feodorovna, Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich and Konstantin Konstantinovich. Today Pavlovsk Palace - a museum whose collection includes more than 57,000 items, the collection includes Russian and Western European decorative arts, painting and drawing, collection of antique sculpture.
Pavlovsky area of 543 hectare nature reserve is famous as one of the largest landscaped parks in Europe. It is the only country park, which for the past two centuries is open to the public.
