The play "Russian jam" was staged based on the play of the same name by Lyudmila Ulitskaya. Defining her work, the writer used the word afterchekhov - and there really will be both Anton Pavlovich himself and the descendants of his heroes from plays "The Cherry Orchard", "Three Sisters" and "Uncle Vanya". The multifaceted play on family values and the realities of modern life in the hands of the director Joseph Reichelgauz came out not in a Chekhovian straightforward and topical, as evidenced by rather furious spectators' reviews. In the theater, who did not chant after Chekhov about the death of the cherry orchard, but at Ulitskaya her "Chekhov's" play turned out exactly about "now and to the point."
