The new symphony orchestra THE NEW ORCHESTRA was created in 2015 in St. Petersburg. The orchestra consists of musicians - graduates of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after NA Rimsky - Korsakov. The artistic director is the composer Andrei Ivanov. The conductor of the orchestra is the composer Vladislav Panchenko. The repertoire of the orchestra includes works by Russian and foreign composers: Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Glinka, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Sibelius, Grieg, Britten and others.

In order to popularize classical music, the program "World pop hits from ABBA to The Beatles performed by the orchestra" was created. Concerts of the orchestra are held in St. Petersburg. In April - May 2016, a tour of the cities of Estonia and Latvia will take place. The young collective became popular in the North-West of Russia and the Baltic States.
